The Thurston County Bar Association presents…the November Member CLE on November 13, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. via Zoom.
“Breaking the Codes: A Tip Sheet on Understanding Washington’s Previous Codes” presented by Joe Panesko, Senior Counsel and a managing AAG at the Washington State Attorney General’s Office.
Joe Panesko will provide the history of the Revised Code of Washington and its predecessors. The goal of the CLE is to provide the audience with an understanding of how the RCWs developed from previous Washington Codes such as Hill’s Code, Pierce’s Code, etc. The CLE is further aimed to assist legal professionals in their understanding of the previous Codes to research issues and laws prior to the enactment of the RCWs in 1950.
The CLE is FREE. 1 CLE credit is pending approval with the WSBA.
