One of the fastest growing law firms in South Puget Sound, Phillips Burgess, PLLC seeks to add an experienced, selfmotivated Lateral Associate with at least 3 years of litigation experience to our team.

Practicing from offices in Olympia and Tacoma, our boutique firm focuses exclusively on real estate, land use, environmental and business law, enabling us to provide our clients with the depth of knowledge and experience in these practice areas normally found only in the largest regional firms. In addition, our municipal law practice provides both general counsel and specialized legal representation services in our focus areas to a range of special purpose districts and local agencies in Western Washington.

Candidates should have strong academic credentials, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to deliver exceptional client service to every client, every time.

Public or private sector civil litigation experience is required. Our ideal candidate will have prepared and presented civil cases in Washington state and/or federal courts. Experience with real estate, construction, contract, and business disputes is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Juris Doctorate from accredited law school.
• Admittance and good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.
• 3+ years’ experience as a litigator in a private practice law firm, corporate/local governmental legal department, or
equivalent.
