Indian law is not necessarily a linear doctrine characterized by a logical temporal progression. Rather, the development of Indian law has been shaped by changing policy direction over time, with some doctrinal progress within policy eras. This CLE will discuss these main U.S. policy eras, and review the parallel development of U.S. treaty rights jurisprudence, as a backdrop for a discussion of property and natural resources issues we confront in Washington today.

Cost: $30 for TCBA Members & Staff and $35 for Non-TCBA Members

1 CLE credit has been approved by the WSBA
