On September 27, 2013, a team of TCBA members participated in the United Way of Thurston County’s 21^st Annual Day of Caring.

This year the TCBA team was paired with the Nisqually Land Trust.
Team participants included: Paul Battan, Brian Brault, Judge Brett Buckley, Crystal Champion, Cece Clynch, Kimberly Ellwanger, Larry Hoffman, Darren Nienaber, Elizabeth Petrich, Judge Kalo Wilcox and Trevor Zandell.
The crew braved the cold and rain to remove scotch broom, blackberry and barbed wire fences from trust land east of Yelm on the Nisqually River. A great day was had by all in service to our community.
