Paralegal

A Tumwater estate planning and probate law firm is seeking a full time, experienced Paralegal to support six (6) attorneys in their energetic, fast-paced practice. Our ideal candidate is a bright, motivated individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently. Probate, LLC/corporate, transactional experience desired.

Required Qualifications:
•       4-year Degree
•       Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
•       Strong attention to detail while multi-tasking a variety of projects
•       Display initiative and respond quickly to changing demands
•       Demonstrated ability to work under the pressure of multiple deadlines
•       Proficiency with computers, software and other technology
•       Excellent customer service
•       Impeccable organizational and calendaring skills
•       Ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively; determine appropriate courses of action

Responsibilities:
•       Prepare and record deeds
•       Draft Pleadings
•       Transcribe dictation
•       Open, administer, and close probates and non-probates
•       Prepare legal documents and correspondence
•       Establish and maintain client files
•       Prepare documents for LLC/corporate transactions
•       Assist in the formation and management of LLC/corporate entities
•       Organize and prioritize large amounts of information
•       Serve as a liaison between clients and attorneys
•       Other duties as needed
