“Prosecuting and Defending Evictions Under WRLTA ”,  Presented by  Bruce Conklin and Trevor Zandell

Mr. Conklin will be presenting from the “Tenant’s Attorney’s Perspective” and Mr. Zandell will be presenting from the “Landlord’s Attorney’s Perspective”.  Mr. Conklin and Mr. Zandell will discuss all stages of a residential eviction case from notices through trial. They will also touch on common defenses and effective strategies that litigants may employ.

“Ethical Issues in Residential Eviction Cases ”, Presented by  Commissioner Rebekah Zinn and Mary Ann Strickler

Commissioner Zinn and Ms. Strickler will review the Rules of Professional Conduct that are most often implicated in residential landlord-tenant eviction cases and they will discuss hypothetical ethical dilemmas.
