“Legal Research: Pitfalls and Pathways ”
Presented by Thurston County Superior Court Commissioner Rebekah Zinn and Washington State Law Librarian, Robert Mead
Do you lack confidence in whether your research skills are as good as they can be? Are you in a research rut, following the same path without rethinking whether there is a better way? This course will explain common pitfalls in legal research and present a clear pathway to get more efficient and effective results. It will focus on resources that are readily available in Thurston County, including free and
convenient access to the State Law Library. There will be also be discussion about how best to present legal authorities to courts.
